Brooke Hall is founder and executive creative director at Brooke Hall Creative, LLC and publisher of What Weekly Magazine. She has spent over 10 years in the media industry, and is a self-taught web developer, graphic designer, business development go-getter and guerrilla networker. She earned her BA in Philosophy and Literature from Wilkes Honors College of FAU.
As a young writer and photographer, she published over 100 articles and countless photos. She’s worked as a travel writer and managing editor for an online publishing house, journalist, contributing writer and film critic for the Baltimore City Paper, fashion photographer for Closer Magazine, Theater actor and producer, editorial consultant for T. Rowe Price and Euro RSCG marketing firm as well as a public relations and marketing manager for a boutique agency in Washington, DC.
She’s headed up marketing campaigns, built websites, and managed public relations for web-based companies, brick and mortar businesses, books and online publications. Brooke has secured coverage for her clients in outlets such as New York Times, CNN, Reuters, Wired Magazine, Jay Leno, Business Week, Information Week, Miami Herald, Washington Business Journal, Washingtonian Magazine, Los Angeles Times, and countless trade publications, not to forget blogs, online publications and web outlets. She’s extremely fluent with most social networking sites and web distribution channels (iTunes, Amazon, Kindle, Google, YouTube, Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, Ning, etc.) She’s taken books to market and magazines to the street.
