Kaltreider emerges from eight years in the commercial and film industry in Los Angeles and Seattle before making a shift to working in fine art.  In the last few years his work has focused on developing methods of gathering inspiration with a blend of stylistic and interpretive techniques and mediums, sometimes incorporating found objects, to create paintings and installations.
