Baltimore Book Festival

Brooke Hall will speak on a panel exploring the emerging situation of what journalism is becoming at the Baltimore Book Festival on September 24 at 4pm at the Baltimore Free School Lit and Language Tent.

Former City Paper Arts Editor Bret McCabe moderates an interactive panel of local critics and journalists discussing what it’s like to critique, report, and otherwise wrestle with writing about the arts, culture, and current events in this era everybody’s a critic, dogmatic shouting and anonymous commenting counts as debate, and consuming media means often means separating the substantive wheat from the shrill noise chaff.
