Bio

Brooke’s work has always happened at the intersection of art and technology. She wrote her first book at 7, made her first film at 8, built her first website at 17 and started her first failed business at 18. During college, she founded and managed a photography collective at college and was a producer, director and actor with the young, angsty Theater in the Raw. When she got into the real world, Brooke worked as a travel writer, managing editor, freelance journalist, professional photographer and marketing and PR professional, where she found a front row seat at the collapse of old world media and was inspired by the approaching digital revolution.

With a significant body of work to her credit, Brooke’s writing and photography has been published in New York Times, Baltimore City Paper, Closer Magazine, SmartCEO Magazine, Washington Business Journal and others. Brooke earned a B.A. in Philosophy and Literature from the Wilkes Honors College of Florida Atlantic University, and studied abroad in Florence, Italy.

She currently runs two start-ups: Brooke Hall Creative, a creative agency that uses cutting edge media to connect people and organizations using the power of stories and What Weekly Magazine, an award-winning, hyper-local web magazine.
